- How do I sign up to TradePoint?
Don't worry, it's easy to sign up. And it's free.
All you have to do is prove you're in the trade and you're in.
You just need two forms of ID like a business card, letter head or another of the approved list of ID's we accept and you're ready to get signed up in-store or online.
Sign up to TradePoint in-store at hundreds of locations nationwide.
It's no hassle. Just fill in the short application form and show us your two forms of ID. Then our helpful TradePoint staff will process your application and give you a temporary card so you can get going straight away. Your permanent card will be delivered to your home address within 14 days.
Sign up to TradePoint online
You don't even have to get your coat on - just sign up online and we'll send your card out to you (that's in under 14 days).
- What are TradePoint Opening Hours?
Working in the Trade isn't a 9 to 5 job. We get it, That's why we're open 7 days a week - early ‘til late. We're here when you need us - opening times vary by store, just check Find a Store for opening times at your local store.

- Help! I've lost my TradePoint card - what do I do now?
Don't worry if you've lost your TradePoint card. There's two easy ways to get a new one:
Get a new TradePoint card in-store
Come in to your local store and we'll sort you out with a new TradePoint card. Bring a form of ID and we'll get your new card sent out to you (within 14 days). While you're waiting you can still use your TradePoint account - we'll give you your TradePoint membership number and you can use this until your new card arrives.
Get a new TradePoint card by phone
Put your feet up and call the TradePoint Order Line on 03330 143 097.
Press Option 2 to be put through to our General Enquiries line.
Tell them that you have lost your TradePoint card
They'll sort you out with a replacement card. No problem.
- I signed up to TradePoint (or asked for a replacement card) but it's 14 days later and I still haven't got my membership card. What's going on?
This shouldn't happen but if it does we'll get onto it straight away for you. Call us on 03330 143 097 and press Option 2 to be put through to General Enquiries. They'll get to the bottom of it in no time at all.
- How do I get my hands on more TradePoint cards?
To get TradePoint cards for your employees you just fill in another application form in-store or Online. Don't forget you'll need two forms of ID for every extra person who wants a card.
Then we'll cleverly link all extra cards to the main (Business Owner) membership number. Sorted.
- How do I change my address (or other details) on my Trade account?
Pick up the phone and call our Order Line on 03330 143 097 and press Option 2 to be put through to our General Enquiries line - we'll get it changed over the phone there and then.
- I don't have two forms of ID but I'm in the Trade
If you're in the Trade you should be able to come up with two forms of ID without too much hassle. Check out the application form for all the different kinds of ID that we'll accept as proof that you're in the Trade. TradePoint is for the Trade only and if you can't produce two forms of ID to prove that then sorry but you won't be able to sign up.
- Can I order stuff by phone?
We don't do pizzas but apart from that, yes, you can order over 7,000 lines via our Order Line.
Look out for the phone symbol in the TradePoint catalogue. Any product that has the phone symbol next to it can be ordered over the phone for delivery.
Just call our Order Line on 03330 143 097 and give us your shopping list.
Lines are open: Monday to Saturday: 8am - 8pm Sundays and Bank Holidays: 10am - 4pm

- How much do you charge for Next Day delivery?
There's FREE Next Day delivery on orders over £209 (Ex-VAT). Just make sure you order before 12pm lunchtime, Monday to Saturday.
Orders under £209 (Ex-VAT) come with a delivery charge of £20 (Including VAT).
The minimum order value for delivery is £100 (Ex-VAT).
Look for the catalogue items that are highlighted as next day delivery.
There's FREE next day delivery on orders over £50 (Ex-VAT). Just make sure you order before 5pm.
Orders under £50 come with a £5 delivery charge.
Look out for the phone symbol in our catalogue for products you can order over the phone.
- How much do you charge for items not available for Next Day Delivery?
Delivery is free for catalogue items when you order £50 (Ex-VAT) worth or more.
If your order's under £50 (Ex-VAT) there's a £20 delivery charge.
- When can I expect my delivery?
When you make your order we'll let you know what date it'll be delivered.
Any known delays will be communicated to you.
If for some reason you didn't get that info then just give your local store a call and they'll happily tell you the delivery details.
- Is it possible to get non kerb-side delivery for bulk items?
At the moment we only deliver to the kerb-side. (It's because the delivery vehicle we use has a crane arm so it has to operate at the kerb side.)
- Can I make an order on the Order Line to collect later in-store?
At the moment you can't use the Order Line to make an order to collect in-store. Our delivery systems don't allow for in-store collection yet.
- If I make an order on the Order Line can I pay for it in-store?
When you order on the Order Line, you have to pay for it then and there over the phone. It makes life simple for everyone.
- Why can't I use the Order Line to order all products for delivery?
At the moment there are still some products we just can't deliver. You can spot the ones we can deliver in the catalogue - they have a picture of a telephone next to them.
- What happens if I need a mate to make an order for me using my TradePoint card?
To make sure TradePoint stays Trade Only, you can only make an order on your own TradePoint card, but don't worry, you can always apply for extra cards on your TradePoint account.

- How can I get hold of a TradePoint catalogue?
You can pick up a copy of the latest catalogue in your local TradePoint store. Or you can have a look at it online anytime at www.trade-point-catalogue.co.uk. Log in with your TradePoint membership number to see all our trade prices.
- What are the coloured squares for in the catalogue?
The coloured squares show you at a glance where to find the products you want. Some are behind the TradePoint counter (green squares) some are on the B&Q shop floor (orange squares) and some have to be ordered at the TradePoint counter (blue squares).

- Behind the TradePoint counter (Green Squares)
You can get products with a green square from behind the TradePoint counter. There are thousands of products and the TradePoint staff will get them for you.
- B&Q Shop Floor (Orange Squares)
You can get items with an orange square from the B&Q shop floor. Then just pop back over to the TradePoint counter to pay.
- Order at the TradePoint counter (Blue Squares)
You'll have to order items with a blue square at the counter and the number indicates the approximate number of days it takes for delivery. Check the TradePoint catalogue for a list of stores and what ranges they carry.

- How do I apply for a Trade UK Account Card?
A Trade UK Trade account is a total life saver when you're in the Trade. With up to 60 days free credit it'll help you with the all-important cashflow and has loads of other stress-busting side effects too. Find out more about the card, and how to apply here.
- How do I activate my online account?
This is free to do and we’ve created a short video to walk you through the steps. Click here to view the video.
- Issues with Activating your online account – Trouble with membership number
Please make sure you’ve provided the correct 8 digit member, our cards start with different numbers and your 8 digital member number follows one of these three codes 2900, 63566633 or 63566635.
- Issues with Activating your online account – Trouble activating
You’ve got the right membership number but you’re still struggling to activate online. Do you have more than one card with TradePoint? If you could ring our contact centre they will be able to update the system for you. You can call them on 03330 143 097.
- Issues with Activating your online account – I see a blank page when I try and register
Sometimes people encounter issues if they try activating using internet explorer, if you switch browsers to Google Chrome you should be able to continue.
- I can’t reset my password, I receive a blank email
If you can access the email on a different device maybe a mobile or ipad you should be able to view the password reset email. Alternatively switch the email from HTML view to standard view. There should be a link towards the top of your email to switch to standard view.
