I'm shocked to find they have removed the timber lat from the door suround, poorer quality less edge strength and harder to get a clean cut on lock and hinges yet more expensive now

Waste of money- wanted provisional door just for a few weeks but edges break when cutting hole for handle

If they fit straight into your door frame they are ok. Spend the extra and go for a solid door it’ll be worth it.

I simply should have known better!

Ok, so...£28 for a door, seems reasonable, right? Nah. If your lucky enough for the door to fit straight in to the hole, fair enough......if you intend trimming it, spend more & get a solid wood door. I wrote off my blades on a brand new plane on the bottom of this door with some concealed metal fixing, so £28 becomes £45. It has fitted ok in the end, but you really do get what you pay for. My advice, spend more, go solid.
