Product information
Allium bulgaricum, also known as Sicilian honey garlic, produces large, drooping flower heads made up of tiny stems with bell shaped flowers at the ends. This allium is best planted at the back of borders and is loved by bees
- Planting location: Suitable for beds, borders or containers
- Soil moisture: Well drained, Soil pH: Neutral
- Flowering period: May-June, Planting period: Aug-Dec
- Dig soil improver and bone meal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole Top dress with a general purpose plant food as the last flowers fade. Allow foliage to die down naturally. Flowering results improve each year
