I’ve just bought these felt tiles for the second time in three years. First job was a gazebo I built and the current job is an arbour. Easy to use and the finished job looks good. If you click and collect then you need to know the pack size is 17, not eight as shown.

Good product

There are varying reviews of this product, from good to bad, but I didn’t have any issues what so ever laying them. They have to be handled carefully or you may tear them, but roofing felt is just the same. In fact they are about 5 times thicker so I would say they are a little tougher. When I laid them it was quite cool and so they were more brittle, but I found that helpful as I had lots of cuts to make and once I scored them with a knife I could easily bend and break them exactly where I wanted to.
As previously mentioned there is a plastic strip that is a little tricky to peel off the back of the tiles, but I just used the point of blade to get the edge and quickly peeled it off. I didn’t find the need to use a blowtorch to warm them up. Used lots of adhesive under the tile part to stop the wind lifting them and used felt nails to secure the main body of the slab (the bit you don’t see when the next room is laid on top)
I’ve attached a pic of the roof (hip and ridge still to tile with off cuts )

Excellent if fitted correctly

Ignore the other reviews; these shingles work great. If they are cold they rip, so warm them up! I used a small blow torch as I went to bend each shingle particularly across the ridge. I did have a few stuck together which I do blame B&Q for. These are not to be stored more than 3 in a stack. They were easily 10 deep on the shelf. I think this pressed them together. I was able to separate them using a paint scraper with care. My kids playhouse roof looks amazing, bad reviews as from heavy handed people who don't apply common sense!
