Good but expensive
Very hard to find a product like this. Was necessary to pre treat knots in wood paneling before staining. Did find it expensive for the amount we needed, only came in one size.

Does what it says on the tin
Bought to treat knots on a new garden room built with untreated wood. (The tin actually says for furniture but this is what the assistant in B & Q recommended - I can only hope he is right). This size tin covered just two external sides so you may need to buy two tins depending on area. It has a brush attached to the tin lid which is very useful. I wore a mask but accidentally spilt some on my skin when reaching up to a high area. Be warned this is very difficult to get off!!!! I washed off immediately but still tricky to remove.

Happy with the product
Bought this product to cover a few stains from knots when repainting internal door surrounds. Good to have the brush included. Thought at first the undercoat was not covering it well but when it dried the Knotting solution lightened in colour. When painted in a white gloss top coat, no sign of the Knots. Will have to see how it performs over time but happy with the product so far.

It does everything it’s supposed to do.
Gave a good quality coating to the knots and did not go all over the surrounding wood.

I bought this product for putting on skirting board in our new kitchen. Easy to apply & covered well.

Easy to use
EAsy to use cos of the internal brush. Very dark so requires a lot of primer / undercoat / gloss to cover

Almost impossible to open
Can't get comment on how it works as only just applying. This took 2 adults to open. One gripping tin while the other leant on top to press and turn while using a friction pad. (Last attempt to open before returning as unusable after 15 minutes of trying). I'm all for health and safety but this was ridiculous. Hopefully now we are into it the product will prove worth the effort.
