Waterproof
I found 3 applications with a brush easier. When quickly spread to absorb and give an even colouration. Should give you good coverage and a decent finish.

A darker batch
The colour is not consistent, ordered 3 tins, then purchased another 2, which was fine, the purchase another 1 that dried a lot darker, so purchase another, still darker than the original 5, made the job a mess will have to blend in at corners and say it's the lighting

Great application, colour and finish
First time I've used Danish oil and I can say I was pleasantly surprised with both the ease of application and the final colour. If you put too little or too much on it didn't really effect the end finish. Once dried it provided a nice even, natural colour. I would recommend at least 2 coats on most surfaces, 3 would be preferable, building each coat slowly.
