Just what I wanted for my arbour

I bought this product to put on my new arbout after reading the reviews. I wanted something which would highlight the grain of the wood, rather than disguise it, and I was really pleased with the results. The oil went on easily (I used paint brushes) and dried relatively quickly. Its now 3 weeks since I used the product and my arbour looks better each day.

Much better than the Mahogany colour

Wanting a bit of colour, I first bought this product in the "Mahogany" version. However, it turned out to be nearer what might be called "Burnt Orange". I then got the "Clear" version which is much better and it does appear in a light brown colour.

Not as clear as I wood have liked

Bought this product to protect a green oak post to be used to mark a grave. The oil is easy to use, soaks in well but puts too much colour on the wood for a clear finish. The darkness of the end result reduces the contrast between the burnt words and carving and the oak and makes it more difficult to read. I also could have one with a smaller sized tin.
