Features and benefits
At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

I used this for exterior masonry that had previously been painted with oil based paint - that some water based paints have difficulty adhering to. The paint adhered perfectly and gave a great finish with 2 coats. Expensive but worth it with Dulux being a premium brand.

I bought this to paint the exterior soffits. The consistency (after stirring well) is like single cream or milk. When painting, I had more paint on my gloves, wrists and arms, as well as covering my laid down dust sheet as the paint was continually running down the handle of the brush. Drips and runs all the time. Utter rubbish for a make like Dulux to produce such diabolical quality of paint.
It did the job, but at over £40 for a 2.5 litre tin, I expected better quality. Should have saved my money and bought B&Q brand, like I did with the exterior masonry paint, which was excellent.
Definitely won't be purchasing this again
Goes on really easily!

This was bought to paint bare wooden posts and heavy duty bare soft wood double gates. I have applied the first coat this weekend, and it's gone on really easily. I will say though that i had prepared properly by adding 2 coats of primer (dulux trade) and 2 coats of dark grey undercoat (leyland trade, this stuff was very good as well). It has given a great finish, i can see my reflection in it and starts to dry quite quickly. It will need another coat, but this paint seems to be going a long way, i haven't even used a quarter of a 2.5l tin yet. definately recommend.
A lovely finish

For the last two years we have been renovating a Victorian property. The property is over 120 years old and has many of its original features. One part we wanted to get absolutely right has been the front door and its frame. originally I wanted to use Farrow and Ball paint, though was informed by them their paint is chalk based and would not give me a sharp gloss finish.
They reccomended a quality Dulux paint and undercoat to achieve the finish I was after.
I read a number of reviews of different products and all lead me to Dulux Weathershield Gloss.
The door was prepared by being dipped and stripped in an acid bath then allowed to dry thoroughly. Once dry the door was sanded to remove any traces of acid residue and small imperfections. Though their is still a fair ammount of minor knocks and cuts which remain in the wood, all part of its character I feel.
I opted for a Dulux white primer paint, then two coats of Dulux top coat with a light sanding in between coats with a fine sand paper.
The paint does what is says on the tin, it's easy to prepare, use and apply and gives a great finish.
I'm really pleased with the finish and absolutely reccomend the Dulux product.
