Carbon monoxide, or CO, is a poisonous gas emitted from household items that are defective, and as a result are burning fuel incompletely. Common sources of CO include ovens, boilers, BBQ's, open and solid fuel fires, gas or paraffin heaters and blocked or broken chimneys and flues. Carbon monoxide cannot be smelt, tasted or seen, and can be deadly - the only way to be alerted to CO is with an audible CO alarm.

- The CO sensor will detect, and provide a warning to, low levels of carbon monoxide, and will provide a ventilate alert as this increases
- Press the test button once for a complete alarm test with a quieter audible alert or press twice for a complete test with full alert
- A 10 year battery is sealed within the alarm which will offer protection for the lifetime of the device, without needing to change the batteries
- With the memory function, the alarm's red LED will flash following a recent activation event. This means if you were away from home at the time of the event, you can take action once aware of the risk.
- Suitable for homes in England, Scotland and Wales, including rented properties.

Great choice for replacement carbon monoxide alarm
We recently bought this Fireangel Carbon Monoxide alarm with 10-year Lifetime battery to replace an alarm which had needed batteries changing every year. Our previous alarm had just reached the end of its life and it made sense to pay a bit more and not need to try and remember to change the three AA batteries every year, plus there is the saving in battery cost. Reviews showed that this battery has the requisite sensitivity and accuracy to detect carbon monoxide and with the 10-year lifetime battery there is definitely durability. For peace of mind it was the right option for us. It is very neat and unobtrusive as well.

Peace of mind with this high quality CO 2 Alarm
Advised by our chimney sweep service expert to install a carbon monoxide alarm before using our wood-burning stove. Fireangel have an impressive range of products to do the job and were available online through B&Q. We opted for the Digital Fa3322 Standalone model based on its great user display and 10-year lifetime battery. When it arrived it was simple to set up and we now have peace of mind when using our wood burning stove.

A Modern Robust Digital Carbon Monoxide Alarm
I decided to buy the Fire angel Digital Fa3322-Eux10 Standalone Electro-Chemical Carbon Monoxide Alarm with a 10-Year Lifetime Battery because my boiler had gone into a fault and was requiring a boiler engineer to attend, so my boiler was potentially causing a serious health concern. When attending the B&Q store it was very easy to choose because I decided on getting the model with the digital display and I liked the fact that it was free standing, and sensitive as well. It was also very small and compact in size meaning that it can stand on a shelf without taking up too much space. It seems a very durable and a robust carbon monoxide alarm, meaning that it will last for many years. The instructions that came with the alarm were also very easy to read and understand. So overall I am very happy with my purchase and for my future health and wellbeing, knowing that the alarm will sound in the event of any carbon monoxide being released into my home without my knowledge. It will save lives in the event of a carbon monoxide release at any time.

CO meter that shows the exact level of gas in your
Neat, attractive meter that shows the actual level of CO as it rises. Fairly pricey but could save your life.

Good but expensive.
I bought one of these today as I suspected a leak. Worked great and did its job but I do think it's expensive compared to similar ones. Still, it did its job.
