Product information
The Flymo EasiCut 500 is perfect for quickly trimming or shaping small to medium hedges in your garden, thanks to its dual reciprocating blades. This hedge trimmer features a 50cm blade length and a cutting capacity of 19cm, so you effortlessly cut the back or top of a hedge that would normally be hard to reach. Due to the dual action blades you can get a precise shape and quickly change cut direction when working on tricky corners. The transparent debris guard allows you to have a unobstructed view of the cutting area for added control, whilst also protecting the blades from any obstructions. The blade tip also protects the cutting blades from impact and damage, so you can get a clean cut even when using close to a wall or the ground.

A great hedge cutter
I needed a decent hedge cutter on a moderate budget, as my low budget cordless one was struggling to cut things above 8mm in diameter and the battery wasn’t lasting very long at all. Having had a Flymo mower in the past gave me some confidence in the purchase of this hedge cutter. I wasn’t disappointed, it easily coped with a range hedge types and kept going even on thicker pieces of hedge, it could certainly cut through 20mm diameter ones with a bit of persistence. The bright orange colour makes it easy to see, so less chance of it being lost it the hedge cuttings. This hedge cutter didn’t feel too heavy and the reach was fine for my purposes, and I couldn’t feel vibrations in the hand or arm after using it. A great hedge cutter, highly recommend.

Easy to use
The product itself is extremely good, very easy to use and makes very light work of heavy jobs. Would highly recommend this product only don’t get it on click and collect as I did you will be waiting forever, not the advertised 15 minutes !!! Poor service.

Replacing trimmer
Replacing an older Flymo hedge trimmer, this reasonably lightweight with good length blade & cutters. A little overpriced imo but otherwise does the job.

Good all round trimmer
A replacement as my trimmer broke and it was the best that I could get off the shelf. It cuts well, but it may have been better with a longer blade
