GoodHome Matt Delaware Cupboard & Cabinet Paint is a great solution for renovating your kitchen, bathroom and bedroom cupboards. Its hard-wearing formulation is stain and scratch resistant, meaning it can handle the everyday demands on these areas of your home. You can even wash away marks and splashes with household cleaning products. Suitable for use on wood, melamine, plastic-coated cabinets and doors, metal and glass.

• Surface Preparation - Preparation of the surface is essential to achieve a good result. Surfaces must be clean and dry. When painting cupboard doors and drawers, remove them from the cabinet and place them on a horizontal surface. Fill any holes or defects with a wood filler. Remove any silicone sealant before painting, you can re-seal after applying the paint. To prepare new or bare wood, lightly sand and remove any dust. Apply an appropriate undercoat to exotic and high tannin woods (oak). To prepare melamine, PVC, metal and previously painted surfaces, wash with a soda based cleaner e.g. sugar soap then rinse and leave to dry. Lightly sand and remove dust. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. For ferrous metals, it is recommended to apply a suitable anti-rust primer. To prepare glass surfaces, wash with a soda based cleaner e.g. sugar soap then rinse and leave to dry.
• Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use. Apply between 10°C and 25°C. For best results, at least 2 coats are recommended using a brush or foam roller. Leave to dry for approximately 8 hours between coats, do not try to rework whilst the paint is drying. Apply between 10°C and 25°C. This pot will cover approximately 24 m². Allow 10 days for the paint to fully cure. During this time treat your new paintwork with extra care, gently wiping any spills or liquids from the paint immediately.
• Instructions for Storage - Remove as much paint as possible from your equipment. Clean brushes and rollers with soapy water. Do not dispose of the cleaning water down the drain. Store your leftover paint in a dry environment between 5°C and 25°C and protect from frost. Best used within 1 year of opening.
