Average performance - use a thin treatment
It was decent at first, but after a while, the pad became very matted and struggled to put any deck stain between the grooves of the boards. This would potentially be much more suited to an oil or watery treatment rather than the thick, almost paint-like Cuprinol product I used.

Amazing job done in half the time
I bought one then returned it as I found one I already had

Decent
It’s fine, does a quick job though had to go over with a brush afterwards on decking as the pad didn’t get into the grooves and edges

Perfection one pad did all my jobs
This pad was a good send. Absolutely brilliant. Will definitely use one every time I decorate now. Everything about it is great. Covers walls and ceilings no drips perfectly suitable for doors aswell. Just perfection in a pad. Well worth the money

Does not do the job
I have decking which is laid grooves upward. As the deck is quite large, I bought this item to try and make the job easier. It did not. Whilst the stain went on the surface well, it did not get into the grooves. I found that I was using more stain trying to get into the grooves by turning the pad on its edge. Also the pad absorbes too much stain, so it's a double-wammy of using excess stain. After a short time, my expensive stain was reducing and I was getting g nowhere fast. I reverted to a fence brush and it went on really well and much quicker. The lesson here is stick with the old tools. There's a reason they've been working for years. I wasted my money on this pad and wasted a lot of stain.

Decking painter
Much easier on your back and knees but doesn't get into the decking grooves properly if they are deep.

Didn’t meet expectations
It only covered the very top of the deck. It didn’t get into the grooves of the deck and as a result it was of no use

Handy!
This was a really handy time to have when painting/staging the little fence we built in the garden. It held product well and made painting the fence easier and quicker.

Wrong item bought
Bought this believing was for indoor use. Hence not ideal coverage…it’s a learning curve for me

East to use but coverage not great
I would rather use a normal pain brush. I felt it took me a lot longer to pain and cover the panels. It’s easy to use and would be quicker if the coverage was there.
