This GoodHome Furniture Varnish has a low odour, quick-drying formulation that provides a long lasting, medium oak gloss finish and highlights the natural woodgrain.
- Perfect for enhancing and protecting wooden surfaces or adding a splash of colour to unfinished wood.
- Suitable for Wood
- Surface Preparation - Prepare the surface by removing any previous coatings and loose, flaking or peeling coatings completely. For bare wood lightly sand to remove any loose fibres. Use a cloth dampened with white spirit to remove any dirt, dust or grease.
- Instructions for Use - Apply evenly in the direction of the wood grain using a brush.

Disaster
Brown before I mixed it. Tbh it was a dream to put on and after 3/4 coats it was the same colour as the tin, so I was very pleased. However, I was a door short so I bought a 2nd tin and that's where the problem arose. It was green in colour and wen I took it back to BQ all the other tins that they opened were also green so they insisted it was correct. They mixed it properly for me and told it would go on the same as my previoustin. I wasn't really convinced but I tried it and its COMPLETELY a different colour and I have the pictures to prove it. So I've got an odd door.

Gorgeous
Did 2.5 doors with this and it was a gorgeous rich orangey brown colour. It was brown wen I opened the tin. Problems arose wen I bought another small tin to finish the 3rd door. It was greenish in colour. Wen I took it back to BQ, after opening a few other tins- they were all green so I presumed it would be ok. But it's a totally different colour and I have the pics to prove it. Luckily it's on the inside of a door that no one sees so I'll have to leave it. I can only suggest u buy all of ur varnish at once from the same batch so they all match. I don't know which tin is correct but I prefer this one- the first tin I bought.

Good home stain
I bought this to stain some radiator shelves I made for my daughter. She was very impressed with the finished work.
