Johnstone’s Trade Covaplus Vinyl Matt is a premium matt emulsion specially formulated for interior walls and ceilings. With enhanced opacity*, it offers excellent hiding power making surface coverage easier and more efficient. Its improved coverage means fewer coats are needed, helping paint go further on every job. Thanks to its superior flow*, application is smooth and effortless whether using a brush, roller, or spray. *Compared to the previous Johnstone’s Trade Covaplus Vinyl Matt formulation.

- Surface Preparation - All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Johnstone’s Trade primer. Rub down previously glossed painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly.
- Instructions for Use - Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Do not breathe spray. Wear respiratory protection. Stir well. Easy to apply by brush or roller. Also suitable for application by spray. Seal absorbent surfaces with a coat of Johnstone’s Trade Covaplus thinned up to 10% with clean water. If more than one can of a colour is to be used in the same area, intermix before use. Do not apply in temperatures below 10ºC. Airless spray application: undiluted, spray @ 2000-2500 PSI with 0.015"-0.019" tip.

Incredible quality!
This product has completely transformed my hallway making it so bright! The quality of the paint is brilliant, it hasn’t left a strong unpleasant odour and didn’t need loads of coats to achieve the desired finished look! It’s so durable too, I have had to wipe down a few areas my kids dirtied and it still looks brand new!

The cheaper emulsion I'd started with just wasn't doing the business but with just one coat of the Johnson's Covaplus my ceiling was indeed brilliant white and I could relax knowing I'd been spared from having to do yet another coat.

Good
I’m really happy with this paint! It went on smoothly and had great coverage, even with just one coat. The color came out exactly as shown and dried evenly without streaks or drips. I also loved how low the odor was, which made painting much more comfortable

Very thick texture!
This paint was very easy to apply throughout my house, it’s very thick which is a bonus as it meant I didn’t have to apply loads of layers. Absolutely no roller marks were left behind, it wipes clean very easily and the clean up after was an absolute breeze.

Super cool paint
bought this product recently to paint skirting boards, doorframes and staircase spindles and bannisters that has previously been painted several years ago. I found the product easy to use and was pleased with the results. It went on smoothly and evenly and the old paint could not be seen through it. I did keep checking back to smooth any drips starting to form because it starts to dry quite quickly,Texture is too good, and also good thickness., peeling off
