Johnstone’s Trade Perfect Matt is specially formulated to eliminate visible application marks that are often highlighted by critical lighting, saving time and effort on touch ups. Its advanced Smooth Layer technology helps deliver a flawless, even finish with minimal effort, even on the most demanding surfaces or conditions. Perfect Matt is ideal for environments where lighting and site conditions could expose imperfections, helping you achieve a consistent, high quality result every time.

- Surface Preparation - All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Johnstone’s Trade primer. Rub down previously glossed painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly.
- Instructions for Use - Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Stir well. Simple application with brush or roller, and also suitable for application by spray. Do not breathe spray. Wear respiratory protection. Seal absorbent surfaces with a coat of Johnstone’s Trade Perfect Matt, thinned up to 5-10% with clean water. If more than one of a colour is to be used in the same area, intermix before use. Do not apply in temperatures below 8°C. Airless spray application: undiluted, spray @ 2000-2500 PSI with 0.013"-0.017" tip.

Amazing paint
I can't praise this paint enough it's expensive but worth every penny covers very easily very write white

Great
Great value paint with excellent coverage, as it went on smoothly and needed only two coats for a bright, even finish. The odor was minimal, which made it comfortable to use indoors, and it dried to a lovely true matt white. It also wipes clean easily, making it a practical choice for busy rooms.

Great product
I was really impressed with Johnstone’s Perfect Matt Brilliant White. It goes on smoothly and is easy to apply, even for beginners. The coverage is excellent—two coats were enough to give a bright, clean finish with no streaks. It dries fairly quickly and has only a mild odor, which makes painting more comfortable indoors. The matt finish looks modern and professional, and it works well on walls and ceilings. Overall, it’s great value for money and I’d definitely use it again.

Stick to quality!
I’ve used this before, so I took the white again. I found it easy to paint the ceiling as it’s durable, the texture is great and it not messy for me to paint. I did not receive my sample but with having used it before I wanted to use it again and selected the white.

Great for interior wall. Smarter looking and brigh
I just finished painting a room inside the house with Johnstone’s Perfect Matt Brilliant White and honestly, I am really happy with how it turned out. I was after something that would give a really clean, modern look, and this brilliant white is spot on. It is not a creamy or off-white, it is a proper, crisp, bright white that just instantly makes the rooms feel bigger and much fresher. The ‘Perfect Matt’ finish is exactly what I wanted too. It is got that lovely, flat, non-shiny look that hides imperfections really well. You know how some paints can show every little bump? This one just gives a really smooth, uniform finish, which is great. Putting it on was pretty straightforward. It is a good consistency, not too thin, not too thick. So it went on smoothly with both a roller and a brush for the edges. I found it covered really well, even over a slightly darker colour, so I didn’t need a crazy amount of coats. Two did the trick perfectly for most areas. Overall, if you are looking for a really bright, clean white with a beautiful flat matt finish for your interior walls, I would definitely recommend Johnstone’s Perfect Matt. It just makes everything look so much smarter and brighter

Great coverage
Its a great paint. Good amount of pigment so coverage and consistency its great. As its a waterbased paint it is an easy cleaning process after painting and the prep as well.

High quality
Johnstone’s Perfect Matt is a very good paint. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t leave brush marks, and the matte finish looks high quality. Coverage is good, and it gives perfect results on the second coat. I recommend it.
