Underwhelmed
Pump works fine but i gave this only three stars as there is no connection for a hosepipe and its pretty useless without a hosepipe connected

Excellent pump for the price
This is the second of these pumps I've had & I've been very pleased with them. They're easy to set up & pump efficiently & quickly, as well as being not too fussy about the state of the water when it contains various debris. I use them a lot & they last for a long time, so they're extremely good value for money.

Excellent pump
Not the first one of these I've bought as they're excellent for emptying hot tubs between change-overs on holiday lets & leave almost no water at the bottom. They last well & are great value.

Useful to drain a hot tub
This worked to remove the water from my hot tub though it worked slower than the pump it was replacing. It does the job, just be prepared to wait for a while

Over complicated floating arm type water pump.
This type of pumpare hard work to opperate. What I wanted was the old style of butt pump not one with a floating arm as they are hard work by themselves and shut off before all the water is pumped out. This one in particular sweemed over complicated and trying to find a hose that actually fitted was very difficult. In the end I sourced a caravan type waste pipe and even that had to be jury rigged. After 5 attemps I did manage to get it to work and remove most of the water. The only good thing was the price whch was about half the average cost. I have had a similar arm type pump for many years so very used to the difficulty in getting them to work compared to them much better butt type pump which now seem unavailable. Maybe this is due to saftey reasons but a simple cut out when no water is detected would be a better way to go. The more parts a product has the more chance it will fail. Needs better post design.

Good Value
This pump is excellent value and works as good as a more expensive model I had previously. The water connections are standard size making it an easy replacement.

Poor quality
Used once and then broke. Wouldn’t work after this. Cheap for a reason.

Great pump
I purchased this water pump to empty my fish pond. It is easy to set up and use. Pumps the water at a nice rate

Useful product for pumping water out
After the recent bad weather I had a massive puddle behind the house as the drain was blocked. I bought this pump and managed to remove the water. Just make sure you have the right pipe to connect to it as the one that was suggested was not the right size and I had to adapt one.

WARNING: requires minimum depth for float switch.
I bought this yesterday, 30 October 2023. When I read the manual it said minumum depth of 60 cm for float switch to work: my depth is far less. There seems to be no depth warning on this webpage or on the box. I'm sure if you have over 60 cm depth and wish to use the automatic one/off it is good value. I've returned the pump to B&Q and bought one via B&Q with intergral float switch
