I booked this pack of 3 props and strong boys for an upcoming job and made arrangements for these and materials to be delivered. On the day of delivery, Speedy turned up with 1 prop and 1 strong boy. I explained there should be 3 and the drive said they had nothing but problems with Tradepoint orders and I would need to speak to Tradepoint. I spoke to a Tradepoint rep on the phone who said they would arrange for the other 2 to be delivered by Speedy and someone would contact me to arrange delivery that day or the next day. By the end of the day, no one had contacted me so I called back, only to be told by someone else that there was a problem with the link between Tradepoint & Speedy and this 'pack of 3' was turning into 'pack of 1' when it got through to Speedy. Not my problem, I said- I need the other 2 and need them the following day at the latest. The person I spoke to said that wouldn't be possible and they had to raise an internal investigation which would take up to 48 working hours to come back to me on! The following morning I phoned again, and spoke to another, very rude, person who said I wouldn't be contacted for 48-72 hours, and then threatened to hang up on me when I questioned when the 72 hour period expired so I could call back. It's now over a week later, I have had to hire additional props at a further cost to myself to get the job done. Speedy have been back and collected this one, as well as the others and I have had no contact from Tradepoint to explain what has gone on. I don't understand why this is still being advertised as a pack of 3 when only 1 turns up (and one of the people I spoke to on the phone said if I ordered again I would only receive 1). If all goes as expected Speedy are brilliant, but the service received from Tradepoint is atrocious, and I wouldn't recommend hiring while this problem continues as it is completely unreliable. The only good to come of this is that Speedy have gained another customer in me, while Tradepoint will be seeing me less.
