Not the best, leaves too many marks although it does clear the trowel marks but not for me, I prefer a plastic refina trowel to smooth out

Good float
Had a chimney Brest to plaster. As a novice this helped getting a blemish free finish to be smoothed down with a trowel afterwards. Good price for small jobs.
