Plumbsure Brass Outdoor tap
Dcfcmap - 2 month ago
It’s fine. Only quibble is that the instructions with the product are to use PTFE tape to act as a spacer in order to align the tap. Given that mine was 3/4 turn out, that took close to a full roll!

I purchased this tap to replace an older leaking tap. It was easy to fit.
Survives the coastal weather

Had this fitted about 6 months now and so far hasn’t suffered any adverse affects due to the salty coastal air which has previously killed outside taps.
Easy enough to fit (it is just an outdoor tap after all). A little PTFE tape and now don’t get any leaks whatsoever.
Plumbsure Brass Tap

Used to replace the plastic tap unit on a B&Q water butt purchased some five years ago. The plastic body simply disintegrated as a result of 'weather fatigue'!
Expensive for the job in hand - but probably outlive the water butt!
As an ordinary half inch brass tap it seems rather expensive anyway.

I bought this to replace a leaking older one, it fitted perfectly as it should.
