Good for awkward and irregular gaps.
I used Polycell Polyfilla Light Grey Wood Filler to fill gaps around my newly fitted letter flap on my front door. This was quite a tricky job as it was hard to reach the gap from the inside of the door, which I had to do, but this product was easy to use and did the job very well. Sanded and painted you would not know there had ever been any gaps. A great result and the added bonus was that it cleaned off the tools (and my hands!) quite easily.

Why did nobody think of this sooner?
Whoever came up with the idea of putting this in a tube deserves some kind of award for innovation. It's very useful when working up a scaffold or ladder, and unlike the days of using it from a tub very little is liable to be wasted. It adheres very well and sands to a fine finish that takes paint or varnish very well.

Great product
When I bought this product I did not realise it was grey until I opened it! It was not clear. Having said that, it was a great product and once I painted the skirting board white it was not noticeable.

Easy-to-Use Filler
I had high hopes for the Polycell Polyfilla Light Grey Wood Filler, especially since it’s advertised as flexible and resistant to cracking. It’s easy to apply, spreads smoothly, and dries fairly quickly, making it convenient for small wood repairs. The light grey color is also a nice touch for blending with primer or painted finishes. However, I did notice some cracking after it dried — particularly in areas with slight movement or deeper fills. This was disappointing.

This did exactly what I wanted and expected with an ideal consistency enabling me to complete a DIY project fitting trim to a skirting board.
