Durable!

I always prefer a Purdy product to generic contractor series products. They last longer and my painters prefer them.

Rusting After a Few Years

I bought five of these putty knives 4 3 2 1.5 and 1 inches expecting them to last me forever but a few years after I had them they started rusting

Excellent Putty Knife!!

Purdy putty knives tend to cost a premium, but they are worth it and last for a very long time if cared for. Stainless steel blade, comfortable and grippy handle, metal bottom for hammering, and an eyelet for hanging. What else could you expect?

My Favorite DIY Tool

This is a nice little tool for my DIY projects that I like to do. It smooths the putty/wood filler nicely. The grip is a nice size and handles well in my hand. It's got a hole in the handle so you can hang it. Definitely a nice tool.

Excellent quality

Purdy products tend to be very high quality and this 1-1/2" putty knife is no exception. Metal base with hole for hanging, ergonomic and comfortable handle, what else could you want. With care, I expect this putty knife will last many projects

Nice

This is the perfect buddy knife for touch ups. It has worked great in patching of small holes from screws. It seems to be durable and a great quality. The grip on it is nice and have no issue trying to use it.

Versatile and durable tool

I do restoration for a living and this putty knife is very helpful for my job. It's is very versatile and I have used it for scraping glue, paint and adhesive, for filling holes with putty, and also use it to prevent drywall damage when removing baseboard to dry out the drywall. It is flexible enough for putty and rigid enough for scraping. The handle seems very well made, as I have used several other brands and the handles on them break very fast. All in all it is a great tool, and I definitely recommend.
