Ronseal 10 Year Weatherproof Wood Paint 2 in 1 doesn't need a primer, not even on bare wood. It's weatherproof in just 1 hour, so it's the quickest way to keep doors and windows looking great. It's guaranteed not to crack, peel or blister for 10 years.
- Suitable for Wood
- Lightly sand the wood, then wipe with white spirit. Fill holes and cracks with wood filler and cover knots with a knotting solution
- Instructions for Use - Paint on with a synthetic brush in the direction of the wood grain.

Perfect for doors and cupboards
Fantastic finish and quick dry time, painted both the back and front doors, single coat needed on a door previously coated in a dark paint and two on a door coated in white primer. Touch dry in about half an hour.

Dubious coverage claim.
The product has given a good finish. However, I question the coverage stated clearly on the tin - 8 sq.m with 2 coats. I achieved the 8 sq.m but with only 1 coat!! A return round trip of 15 miles and double the paint cost 🤨.

Quality exterior paint
Always buy this for my exterior door and gates. Haven’t used it yet but good to have a supply ready for a nice day and 3 for 2 is even better.

Top quality wood paint.
It’s great so that is why I have used it for years. It’s great for durability and weatherproofing qualities on bare wood or previously painted or varnished wood. Well worth the extra it safes time as well.

Does what it says in the tin!
I used this on some treated 3x2 which I had used to build a balustrade for a raised patio. Went straight into the bare wood very well and is touch dry within minutes. Two or three coats are recommended so I went with three and am very pleased with the results! Others have said the colour doesn't look even but it looks absolutely fine to me! I shook the tin very well also stirring before use! Gives a smooth, even satin finish which Ronseal guarantees for ten years! Time will tell but it looks and feels good to me!
