Ronseal 10 Year Weatherproof Wood Paint 2 in 1 doesn't need a primer, not even on bare wood. It's weatherproof in just 1 hour, so it's the quickest way to keep doors and windows looking great. It's guaranteed not to crack, peel or blister for 10 years.
- Suitable for Wood
- Lightly sand the wood, then wipe with white spirit. Fill holes and cracks with wood filler and cover knots with a knotting solution
- Instructions for Use - Paint on with a synthetic brush in the direction of the wood grain.

Skylight regloss
Sanded down and replaced the gloss on a wooden skylight frame. This worked a charm and it looks good as new now!

This paint has transparent pigment
It is claimed that this paint can be used without a primer, even on bare wood. After six coats of paint the bare wood colour is still visible, so would not recommend it.

Good buy
It didn't need either a base coat or undercoat. Could be applied directly to newly sanded bare wood. It cost more than I anticipated for a small amount, but buying a bigger tin can be a false economy, and disposing of leftover paint is problematic,

ok, but not easy to apply on large surfaces
I bought this to repaint the outside of the sash windows. The coverage is ok, but he water based medium means that the paint at one end has dried before the paint at the other has been applied. This makes a smooth overall finish difficult.

Ronseal outdoor paint
Bought this to paint an outside door, primed the door first as wanted it to last. It took 3 coats of this paint to stop the colour of the primer coming through and it is also very runny, won’t be using it again.

Does what it says on the tin!
I needed a quick drying easy application gloss paint and this fits the bill perfectly. Dried in less than four hours which meant I could start late morning and have the job done and dusted by mid afternoon!! Highly recommended.
