Nice varnish gave a good finish

The varnish seems pretty good, the handle on the applicator broke however so had to ditch that and just used the end of the applicator. managed to get right up to the skirting boards and it dried very quickly so that I could apply coats and get the job done in a day.

We are pleased with the result. Our daughter who has never done this before completed the job without problem

Bought and done the floor over a few days. Preparation done and floor looking flat, damage removed and filled. Started using the paint with the flimsy applicator which broke. The paint albeit thin is difficult to fully spread and you end up with thickened bits or ridges where you have placed the brush on the floor. It's vey difficult to get an even spread meaning it looks very patchy. I'm on my 5th coat and whist it's starting to look better it's not great. you see every mark from the application which look like brush marks and bubbling due to air leaves marks.

After only 2 coats (recommended 3) my oak parquet flooring is rock hard and protected. A little goes a long way and the pad applicator makes it so easy Anschluss fast to apply. Worth paying the extra for it.

The marketing slogan that it does what it says on the tin is flawed because it states that the varnish and paint pad deliver a beautiful smooth perfect finish. The pad is supposed to reach right up to skirting board - no need for a brush. Actually, the paint pad delivered a streaky and uneven surface that was no better even after two coats. I was very careful to follow the instructions and am extremely disappointed at the end result.
I have now had to spend two days stripping the varnish off the floor and will now apply another product.
