- Guarantee - Statutory
- Suitable for Wood
- Waterproof
- Surface Preparation - Before you start, wait for a warm, dry day (above 10c and not going to rain). Cold, wet weather stops the stain from drying which could make it wash off. Give the wood a good clean with a stiff brush to get rid of any dirt or the stain might not soak in properly. If your fence is grey and hasn't been treated before, you'll need to give the wood a good clean or the stain might not stick. You could clean the wood with either a pressure washer (be careful not to damage the wood) or use a suitable fence cleaner. The wood will need to be dry before you paint it. Cover anything you don't want to get stain on. To check you're happy with the colour, find a small hidden patch of wood to test on before you paint our whole shed or fence.
- Instructions for Use - When using a brush, give it a really good stir using something wide, like an old wooden spoon. Get lots of stain on your brush and put a good thick coat on. If you see any drips, brush them in. Give any drips on plants or paving a wipe with soapy water before it dries. When using a sprayer, you'll need to make sure it's not too windy. Pour the liquid into the tank. Pump it up and start spraying. Use long, sweeping, horizontal arm movements and move along the full width of the panel. Drop down and do the same again, going over where you've already sprayed by about half. This will make sure the whole area is covered with just the right amount of stain. Any overspray should be cleaned up straight away with soapy water before it dries.

Paint coverage on timber sleepers.
One coat probably gives protection but to get depth of colour it needed 6 coats on new garden sleepers.

Prosukt dobry
It doesn't stink, isn't thick to use, and I apply it nicely. It dries quickly and covers wood well.

Lovely colour, not one coat.
This paint is incredible value for the amount you get. Huge 5l tub for about a tenner, can't beat that. I applied it to a raw wood arch and to deeper stained wood planters for the garden. Unfortunately the 'one coat' claim is a load of rubbish, it isn't anywhere near one coat. I think I applied 5 thick coats to each. Did take a while but it does look fantastic now it's done. This colour is the perfect mid grey, cool in tone but not blue which is exactly what I wanted. It was easy to apply but it is thin so be prepared for many drips and splatters, put a dust sheet down. Overall happy with it especially due to the price. Hopefully it holds up well when bad weather comes.

Not what it says in the tin.
Well it doesn't exactly do what it says on the tin. Definitely not "One cost". This need at least 3 costs. I've used this stuff a lot and it is good for protection and colour, but spraying is the best way to save time with the number of coats.

Two layers
If you want to cover wood just for colour, then one layer may be enough. But still may be not even patches. If you painting over other colour, then at least 2 layers needed. I painted over red/ cooper previous painted fence, so needed 3 layers to cover it. Nice rich colour though.
