Safety Information

Contains: 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, reaction mass of 5-chloro-2methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1) and 2-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one.

Paint for patio area
Bought paint for covering patio area. Actual colour is a bit lighter than that on the tin! Even so it was easy to apply and covered very well and could have got away with only one coat!

Not same colour as matchpot
After a number of trials with the tester pots we decided on French Grey. Purchased a number of tins on special offer. Unfortunately the colour in the 5L tins widely differed from the tester pot and painted on more yellow/sandstone than the grey/green we expected. Sandtex need to address the issue with this colour as it isn't just a 'shading' problem. Returning the paint but now the offer has finished.

Colour didn't match swatch on the tin
I'm sure this paint will be durable, and coverage was good, but the colour was way off what the colour swatch on the tin led me to expect. Grey it was not,! Oh well, it'll have to do.

Fantastic product
Fantastic product. Had some nasty peeling dark grey paint on old slabs. Tried to get it off with no success, so went for repaint in French Grey. It's a subtle pale greeny grey and has really lifted the area. Getting lots of compliments. Coverage is great, did 2 coats and none of the old grey showing through. Applied with roller.

Very chic colour
I chose this colour as I didn't want anything too light, or too dark, and this seemed to tick the box. It isn't grey however. Its a pale greeny beige with a hint of grey. I do like it, its very chic looking, and could easily be a farrow and ball colour. Also the paint is lovely to use, its thick so no drips, and doesn't smell.

Reliably good
Great masonry paint - easy to work with,great colour and coverage. It dries to a greeny beige which doesn't sound as nice as it actually is - it's a delicate neutral colour much like the farrow and ball French gray colour in their palette. A really nice alternative to the usual masonry paint colours. Brushes wash in water and drying time is about 3 hours depending on surrounding air conditions.
