Great product if chosen carefully.
I recently bought this item to be used as replacement joists underneath my living room floor. I took my time in store selecting the best pieces of wood, as some can have numerous knots or leaking sap. Very pleased with my selection and my new floor is now half complete.

Great product at a good price
Bought this product to create some deep frames for canvases and was very happy with the quality, smoothness and straighness of the piece.

Two straight pieces of wood
Chose carefully from the lengths of wood on display, found two that seemed dead straight and in good condition. Overall very happy.

Great product
Very smooth timber. Very few knots or creases. Easy to work with. My bundle of 8 sticks were all straight i.e. no bends or kinks.

Only B &Q
Having tried most timber suppliers and saw mills l could find anywhere that could supply me with the size timber l needed all they could offer where larger sizes that where to big the job l needed the timber for.I thought there is only one place left and that was B&Q l looked at the website and l found timber just slightly bigger than l needed but l could work with so although B&Q is over ,30 miles from me it was this it nothing but l was glad l decided to go to ,B&Q as l found the timber easy and what a lady amount of choice of timber.I know now where l can obtain the DIY timber and other things light need int he future.Well Done B&Q

Consistently good quality
Always buy these from B &Q as they are generally straight and true

Decent product for DIY purposes. Always plenty of choice and alternatives to look at.

Generally ok
I generally have to go through all the pieces instore to find the straight ones as a lot are bowed and have knots. Additionally I have noticed that dimensionally they can be out by +/- 1mm. This was an issue when I was making some frames. The wood is planed so would expect better tolerances for this size
