Poor lids let this product down
These boxes are sturdy enough for the price point, but the lids are absolutely hopeless. They relay on two tiny tabs at each of the narrow ends to fasten over the handles. There is no locking mechanism or lip along the long sides. Grasping the handles to lift them deforms the thin plastic of the box enough to pop the lids straight off, before you've even got it off the ground. Bending/crimping the handle portion of the lids inwards improves this marginally, but there's still no strength in the lid's grip on the box. They're supposed to be stackable, but with these three on top of each other, the top two boxes being moderately full of bric-a-brac (not heavy items like books) and the lid of the bottom box of the stack is already beginning to bulge inwards and I fear any more weight would cause them to collapse. Wouldn't buy again even at this price point.

Good box
I bought these boxes to put Christmas stuff in the loft. They're alright. Cheap enough. The lid clicks on, but doesn't lock. Not as sturdy as the "really useful" boxes, but a fair bit cheaper. Don't know what more I can say about a plastic box.
