Thistle Board Finish is a final coat plaster for skimming over lower suction backgrounds such as plasterboard. It provides a smooth surface finish for walls and ceilings and a durable base ready to decorate.

Good finish
I bought the plasterboard finish as I prefer it to Multi finish, board finish is a bit faster setting than Multi finish and just as good a flat mat finish. More expensive than multi finish though.

Poor
Bags this product is supplied in are awful. Ended up with a boot full of plaster dust as this split when attempting to carefully lift it out. Went for board finish as the last bag I had of multi finish had at least 25 pieces of c5mm quartz chippings in it which ruined the finish on the second coat of skim. Shame there aren’t better alternatives out there more readily available.
