A versatile and cost effective building material, CLS is a graded timber commonly used in stud wall construction. This CLS timber, is a pack of 8 with dimensions of (L)2.4m x (W)6.3cm x (T)38mm, 24.84kg, the material has a natural smooth finish. When used externally, planed softwood must be treated with an exterior timber preservative and either a high performance exterior wood stain or exterior paint suitable for timber.

Barely "treated"
I bought some of these 2 years ago, loved them. Bought some more yesterday for another DIY project but was truly disappointed. The cross section of the old ones showed seepage of the tanalith solution (pressure treated?) whereas the latest batch had no seepage into the grains, got rubbed off easily and were way more expensive

Good timber
Good clean timber not many knots arrived as promised, made a frame for Raspberry canes with wire and ready mix concrete already bought from B & Q, good result.
