Super Unibomd
Easy to use good adhesion from the get go and covers well . Also very flexible and waterproof. Does exactly what you need it to do.

It's sticky.
Bonded what I needed to bond together, quite viscous in the tube so required quite the pull. But yeah if you need mdf to join to DPM? You could do worse
