- Surface Preparation - Always check the health & safety info before you begin. Avoid painting in extreme temperatures and damp or humid conditions – it can affect the final finish. Before starting, seal new or bare plaster with this paint thinned by 5% with clean water, or use a dedicated bare plaster paint. Clean surfaces thoroughly – remove grease, mould and dust for a dry, sound base. For previously painted surfaces, wash down, sand well and remove any loose or flaking paint. Fill any cracks, dents or holes with a suitable filler. Prime first when painting bold colours or tackling tricky surfaces.
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use. If you're buying more than one tin, mix tins of the same colour to keep the finish consistent. If you're running low, stop at a corner or natural break. Apply two coats using a quality brush, roller or sprayer, leaving 2 to 4 hours in between each coat. Don’t overwork it – avoid excessive brushing or rolling. Bold colour changes may need an extra coat.

Shade of green
Really great paint, easy to use and the colour looks amazing once I used it on my walls, drys like the colour shown. Paint is thick and easy to apply

Low Odour, Great Colour!
The Valspar paint in ‘Rugged Olive’ is a beautiful autumnal shade which has elevated my teenagers room, which has accents of pale pink & sage/olive decorations throughout. The application of the paint is low mess and the coverage is great after just two coats. My favourite part is the low odour which makes the process of painting all the more enjoyable!

Rouge olive paint
This is such a great brand, the paint it's amazing and the colour it's wonderful. Valspar paint it's perfect for painting your wall, we mande my boy nursery and looks just amazing. The piant it's very easy to use and mix together, you don't need a lot of product because spread easily on the wall. Also drays very quickly. I am impressed with the quality of the paint and aslo I really adore this rouge olive colour. Raccomend

Beautiful olive green from Valspar
Really smooth and easy application, colour is as advertised on the tub which seems to be almost impossible. It took two coats for coverage as stated accurately on the tin. I feel this paint goes a long way and had much left over compared to other brands. Low odour and seems very durable. Happy Days!

Valspar - The Brand You Can Trust!
This was actually quite a nice paint to apply. The colour is Rugged Olive and took to the walls quite nicely. I only done 2 coats and round that was more than enough. We’ve used Valspar in quite a few rooms of the house and find it nice and reliable and easy to use. Would recommend!

A Warm, Earthy Olive That Transforms the Space
This Rugged Olive Matt is a stunning shade, it is rich, earthy, and very on‑trend. The paint applies evenly with great opacity, and the matt finish hides imperfections beautifully. Once dry, the colour looks even better than expected and gives the room a warm, inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately the photo I uploaded doesn’t do the colour justice as the real shade is deeper, warmer, and much more accurate in person than it appears in the picture.

Good
Not the best painter and the colour wasn’t the exact match but it arrived packaged well and is great for washing and scrubbing marks off of. Especially as it’s used in our porch it’s great value for money and has a light sheen so a good paint

Fast Drying
Over the weekend I used the Valspar in rugged olive to paint the chimney side of my room. I gave it two nice coats. It dried fast, by evening the wall was completely dry and there was no lingering paint smell.

No Smell
The Valspar paint went on really well. It was nice and thick. The paint sat well, covered the walls evenly and did not splatter whilst we were rolling it on. My favorite part of the paint apart from the colour was that it had no smell.
