Sweet peas are fast growing and provide beautiful scented flowers, perfect for cutting and enjoying indoors.

• Best for containers or mid borders. in Sunny areas
• Moist & well drained Aerated soil
• Watering instructions - Keep compost moist during germination period and thereafter. Water well during dry spells.
• Plant in Jan - March, Flowering period June - September
• Sow in to 9cm pots 1.5cm deep, two seeds per pot, using a multipurpose or sowing compost, January-March, and water well. Seedlings will usually appear after 12-21 days. Acclimatise young plants to outdoor conditions (avoid frosts) before planting out 30cm apart in well drained soil, or containers filled with peat free multipurpose compost. Needs a sunny spot. Provide bamboo canes or a trellis as support for the climbing stems.
• Regular picking for enjoying in your home will encourage more flowers and prevent plants from setting seed. Protect young plants from slugs.
