Mitre saws
Mitre saws are an ideal tool for precise angled or bevelled cuts in timber. Commonly used to cut skirting boards, mouldings and architraves, they can also be used to make repeated crosscuts. An essential piece of kit for carpenters and joiners, there are two types of mitre saw best suited to different tasks. Compound mitre saws can cut both at an angle and on a bevel at the same time so are well-suited to intricate and exacting work. Sliding mitre saws offer the capability to tackle the larger pieces of timber required during construction projects. The blade can slide along a guide rail and move through metal and timber with ease.
