B&Q will match the price for Tool Hire when hired from a B&Q store against those from HSS, Travis Perkins & Jewsons. The products must be of the same specification and perform the same function. You will need to provide us with evidence of the competitor’s price in order that our colleagues can check the price at the point you place your order in store. Price match is against the total hire price of the tool, including VAT, delivery and collection and excludes consumables, deposits, accessories and/or safety equipment (whether required or not). The competitors’ products must be available at the lower price for the same period of hire that the products are being hired from us. We will need to be able to confirm that they are available on the dates 
required and that they are available at that price to the general public, or where a trade account is required the price must be generally available to all trade members holding an account with that competitor. Price match only applies when hiring products from a B&Q store and not from diy.com or TradePoint.co.uk. We do not price match against competitors’ promotions/discounted products, offers involving vouchers or discount codes, staff or any other discount cards cannot be used in conjunction with a price match. For Tradepoint Members who have loyalty discount this will apply on top of the total hire price.

Entries

This promotion is open to all TradePoint members in the UK aged 18 years and over, excluding employees of B&Q Limited, their families, agents or anyone else connected with the promotion. Available on purchases made in store only.  Excludes B&Q Local stores & ROI.

To take part in the promotion TradePoint members must purchase a DeWalt branded product, between 27^th September and  24^th October 2024 in store, in the event all the instant win prizes are claimed before 24th October no further coupons will be issued for the chance to win an instant prize but you will still be entered into the prize draw.

When a qualifying purchase is made within a B&Q store, the TradePoint member will be required to scan their TradePoint card at point of purchase.  The TradePoint member will then receive a till coupon confirming whether they have instantly won a prize, or not.  One coupon will be provided per qualifying transaction.  The TradePoint member will also be entered into a prize draw, with one entry per qualifying transaction per day, for a chance to win one of the prizes, 1 to 3  detailed below.

We reserve the right to disqualify any entries we reasonably suspect to have been made fraudulently.  We accept no responsibility for any lost damaged of incomplete entries or entries not received due to a technical fault or for any other reason beyond our reasonable control.

The prize is non-transferable or exchangeable and no cash alternative is available.  We reserve the right to replace the prize with a prize of equal or greater value where it becomes necessary to do so.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award any prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or hold void, cancel, suspend or amend these Terms and Conditions where it becomes necessary to do so. Our decision on all matters relating to this promotion is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.  By entering this promotion, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Liability

Insofar as is permitted by law the Promoter and its agents and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner/s or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.

Governing Law

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. This promotion will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
