Does the job
Got rid of paint on wall well. We accidentally put too much paint on a wall. The sand paper worked well.

Very brittle paper
The sandpaper is probably OK for totally flat surfaces but is hopeless for round staircase spindles as the paper is brittle and breaks up, and the oxide layer splits off into small pieces.
