The construction of this door is engineered with a unique configuration of timber that is laminated and glued together in different directions. Lipping is then fixed to the edges and a veneer is then applied to the surface.

Knotty pine gazed door
This is the second knotty pine door I have purchased from B and Q. The first one was finished and installed by me several years ago and has met all my expectations. Unfortunately, with regard to the new door, I have been disappointed by the overall quality; the main frame is made up of different strips of wood jointed together, the wood is soft, of poor quality and has the feel of not having been fully seasoned. Also the wood fillets holding the glass were poorly finished. I cannot fault the service I received from B and Q, but am less than satisfied with the quality of my latest purchase.

Good value, great service
I bought three of these doors. When sanded and painted they are good value for money. The service from B&Q was excellent.

mixed feelings
Base door good, but poorly finished. Needs lot of work rubbing down to get timber smooth.
