Avoid
It was good to start with but it keeps swelling and the joints have come apart. I was blaming the paint until I read the other reviews here. Shame, was nice to have the glazed panel but the timber is poor.

Perfect for what I wanted
I’m using this as an internal door to let more light in through a porch & it’s faultless. Solid. It’s needed shaved as an usual size frame but had no issues with it so far - yet to be painted!

lovely door
A nice solid door, very heavy. Left as per instructions in the area to be fitted . After two weeks, I had the door professionally fitted and it was perfect. Now, two weeks later, the door appears to have warped as it no longer sits square in the doorframe and I struggle to lock it where it used to silently slide into locking position. The door is fitted to an interior location that is subject to changes in temperature and ,moisture - but being an exterior door it should handle that. I deliberately went for an expensive door to prevent the issues that reviews have revealed with the cheaper doors - but I seem to have similar problems - ie. warping of door when in situ.

Poor Product
This is not an external door. It swelled in the damp. Leaked at the window. I would not bother you will have to replace it again later.

Seems to hav been changed and improved
Probably no longer as bad as other reviews for this (an dit's narrower cousin) suggest. I've just taken out one of the old type ones which was rubbish, but did last 8 years. Old one was engineered "wood" with pine veneer. Old one changed size all the time, and the glue didn't seem othe be waterproof. Since there aren't many choices with a clear glazed panel - ended up looking at the same thing for replacement. Store had two types in stock - old ones in cardboard packaging (eco good) that you can't see before purchase and newer looking versoins in clear plastic shrink wrap(eco boo - but at lesat oyu can look at the wood). Both had the same product code - so don't order online - go and choose in store. Pleased to see it's now solid pine stiles and rails, looks to be an improvement over the old glued splinters and veneer one.

do not buy!
I bought this door even though the other sizes had such bad reviews about the joints swelling in the rain. I assumed I would be able to waterproof it with a good stain. I applied several coats of waterproofing, but the joints are so poor that you cannot stop water getting in, the door started to come apart after the first day of rain. DO NOT BUY, this is not an external door!
