Ok for what I paid
I only needed it to do a few cuts, but wouldn't like to have to do a big job with it

Perfect for diy small/medium jobs
Very easy to use, used for backsplash in kitchen. Perfect for small/medium jobs. Perfect for diyers! Let the cutting wheel do the work, applying too much pressure with smash the tiles. People who rate this cutter badly try to do it too fast. This is not a professional industrial cutter. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super bit of kit
Bought this to put 1/2 a box of tiles on, so didn't want to pay too much! It worked brilliantly, and managed without breaking any more than the first tile. The rest was easy when I got the hang of it! I noted that the cutting wheel had to roll across the tile and then come to rest at the end, before lifting the arm and allowing the breaker to swing down to snap the tile. Otherwise you will break the tile! Super cheap but useful cutter.

Great tile cutter
First time tiler. I had to tile in a splash back behind kitchen sink. A long wall 3.4m but had flexibility to go as high as I wanted, so 0.4m. Tiles are 100mm square, 8mm thick. Admittedly, I only had to cut 8 tiles, if I had tile snips, it would only be 6. You need patience. As someone said, score, score, score, breathe(!), score then cut. It works! I practised and lost 4 tiles to it. I’m no DIY-er so I don’t get the very negative reviews for this. It’s £15 and my adhesive grout cost me more than 3x that! The negatives - very lightweight and would perform even better if screwed down to a workbench, there looks to be ready made screw holes for this on the tool. I was working on the kitchen table. Tiles still need grout but for a first timer, full of trepidation, I’m pleased with the result.

Spend a little more and get something better
Says suitable for upto 10mm, tried using it on a 10 mm tile and the handle snapped off on the first use.

It does the job
It is not the best tile cut, but it’s good value for what it is

Can’t fault it
Was put off by the negative reviews but was only doing a small section on a fire place was didn’t want to spend more on cutter than we did on the tiles. Cut 30cm tiles no issues. only mishap was trying to cut a 2cm x 7cm slither which snapped at an angle.
