Not good

It doesn’t cut tiles well and many of them break. I would not recommend.

very good tool for the price

Very decent tile cutter for the price. Didn't want to spend much and wasn't expecting much. But was pleasantly surprised. Did the job perfect. Just need to get the pressure right when scoring. Too little and score is not deep enough and it doesn't split properly, too heavy and it cracks the tile too early. Get it right (a kind of medium pressure) and it works great! Nice smooth edges.

Tile cutter

Needed something to a cut floor tiles. It did the job. I only had a few to do, anymore than that and I would have bought an electric cutter. Small tile projects perfect, bigger ones then no

Don’t waste your money

Please don’t be fooled by the positive reviews of this product. It is just not up to standard. Poor quality and damages tiles. Please look at it in store and compare it to other cutters and you will see.

Does the job, good for a novice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to retile my kitchen to update it, initially felt like a massive job but managed to get started. The first few tiles weren't great but I watched a video and instructions and managed to get the next few ok. The tool itself works well - fairly basic but will cut tiles up to 12mm which is good after I got the hang of it. Decent price and good piece of kit to have at home. We had a quote to retile the kitchen for a good few hundred so feel happy to have saved some cash.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recently bought a house and I needed a tile cutter to cut tiles for my new kitchen. I was very nervous as I have never used a tile cutter, but it was easy to use and definitely worth the money!

Great starter cutter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The last time I did a tiling job, I bought a cheap snap off rail type tile cutter to use on 150x150 square tiles. It was useless, so I bought a wet tile cutter which works. I'm about to install a splashback around the kitchen using 600x300 porcelain tiles. I know the electric one will work and I've bought a porcelain disc, but it will be slow. I bought this because it had good reviews, now it has another one. I bought 6 cheap 600x300 porcelain tiles to practice on. I also watched a couple of videos of how to do. My 1st attempt was OK but not perfect. All other cuts were perfect, after a few across the tile I tried 2 cuts down the length, both perfect. Anyone want 4 x cheap porcelain tiles to practice on? ;-) It is much faster than the electric cutter and the edges are perfect, not a chip to be seen. When the tile snaps, it does not go with a bang as expected and the first time I didn't think it had worked. Then I noticed a tiny crack all the way down, a perfect break. Brilliant and inexpensive tile cutter!

Tile cutter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very handy tool to have for diy. Will cut up to a 12mm thick tile and can be cut in a number of different ways. Comes with a measuring tool so that you get it right every time. I was replacing some bathroom tiles on one panel and it was an effortless job to cut the pieces required for the section I needed. Would maybe advise to give it a go on a couple of old tiles to start with to get the feel for it but it is super easy to use.
