Product information

The exotic showy flowers of agapanthus are produced in summer and last in to autumn. They male perfect cut flowers.

  • Planting location: Beds, borders or in patio pots
  • Soil moisture: Moist & well drained, Soil pH: Any
  • Flowering period: July - September, Planting period: March - April
  • Plant in a sunny sheltered spot. Dig soil improver and bonemeal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole. Do not attempt to plant these bulbs if the ground is frozen or during freezing conditions. Water well during dry spells. Remove faded flowers to prolong flowering. Top dress with a general purpose plant food as the last flowers fade. Allow foliage to die down naturally.
