Terrible shed
Shed took 3 day to put up. Parts were labelled incorrectly and did not fit as described.

Great value
I couldn't believe it all came in such a small box. It was a dream to assemble, as long as you stick to the instructions. I did it all on my own, but another pair of hands would have made it easier. You do need the floor supplied by the manufacturers, as it fits perfectly. Everything you need is in the box. I think this is a brilliantly engineered shed. It may seem a bit flimsy when you are assembling it, but when it's all screwed up it is very rigid. delivery was also bang on time. I would definitely recommend this product to anybody that wants a rot proof shed that looks really good and blends in well in the garden. Great, and well done B&Q for selling it at such a great price.

Terrible - don't get one
A shed without a floor - if you want a floor that's extra. Do you not want it to blow away in a gentle breeze - anchor it down, that's extra. Extremely flimsy with the structural integrity of tin foil, which you need to anchor down to a perfect concrete base. Immediately went to buy a wooden shed. Not recommended

Inferior Floor
I purchased the Rowlinson 8x6 Woodvale Metal Shed - Home Delivered with Floor (EAN: 5013856015482 ) and made a huge mistake. To purchase the shed with a floor cost an additional £50 and this I find outrageous. Bearing in mind the shed is destined to live outdoors one would have thought the floor would be of a water resistant material. Had I known the floor would consist of a few battens of untreated timber and low grade wood-chip I would not have considered buying the shed with a floor. During construction we had a shower of rain. The result was the floor soon became creaky and gave way between the bearers. It was fortunate that we had not finished anchoring down or we could have incurred many more hours on the deinstallation / re-installtion. We have had to purchase treated timber and make a floor that is fit for purpose. B&Q will be receiving the relevant photographs. The ‘Arrow’ Assembly instructions came in many different languages. However the English version I needed had stage 2 and 3 missing (just blank pages). That proved a bit of a challenge as my laptop was at work and I only speak English! The instructions also read ‘this product will take "many hours" to assemble’. Correct even with two people and an electric screwdriver. Conclusion - I have mixed views about this shed. The assembled shed looks good although a lot flimsier than I had hoped. The painted metal can easily be scratched during assembly and you either have to touch it up or risk rusting. I definitely would not recommend purchasing the shed with the floor unless you are happy to throw away £50 and incur a lot more time replacing the floor within a relatively short period.

nightmare
where to start ! about 2000 screws that you need to have a small childs fingers to hold ,all too flimsy while in progress of erecting, has to be perfectly square to align the miniscule holes up,and why would you not make a floor that fits inside after you have built your shed ? instead of supplying a floor that is too large and sticks out approx. 50mm around the base open to the elements . im a roofer by trade and its had me pulling my hair out ,only buy this shed if you want to be bald ! a nightmare bad design , b and q you should not be putting your customers up for this !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard work to assemble
The manual says it all - this product will take "many hours" to assemble. With two people and no electric screwdriver, 8 hours to be precise! Assembled shed looks good. There are some design issues such as the sliding doors catch on the door posts. Self-tapping screws easily tear the thin metal they are going into and lose their grip. The painted metal is easily scratched during assembly, leaving many exposed areas that you either have to touch up, or risk rusting. Instructions have quite crude diagrams, making it easy to make mistakes, requiring dis-assembly & re-assembly of parts to fix. There were insufficient plastic washers supplied for the assembly. Wood-chip floor supplied is slightly too large, so rain water pools on the edges, (which within a couple of weeks is already causing the wood to become sodden in places). Floor was also not totally flat, meaning couldn't easily screw the shed's frame to it when assembled. Overall my feeling was that having built the shed & learnt the pitfalls, I could probably assemble another one more easily and with a better result. So if you have the time to assembly it, go ahead and buy it. But take an hour before you start to absorb the instructions and look out for the pitfalls.
