Good value for a non-business buyer. Couple of coats and they look great - even with the less than perfect cuts I made!

Easy to cut, harder to get a good finish
Had some issues when cutting the coving. The paper like covering that allows it to be painted doesn’t cut well, leaving a very rough edge. This needs to be trimmed back from the cut edges. Otherwise when you butt the coving lengths up against each other you get bits of paper sticking out. It took some time to cover the edge up with filler and sand it down.

Easy to fit
Viewed this product on line checked the availability and location of it in store. Went down to store collected it paid for it returned home and had it all fitted in less than three hours wife was delighted

Different product width
I purchased this product when B&Q opened after lockdown. Fixed approx 60% of the coving than had to get some more. Bought another 6 pack today but nothing would line up. I found that the first pack of Coving measured 90 mm wide, the second pack measured 94mm wide so did not match up. Tried to contact manufactures but still shut. local B&Q measured the width of existing stock and confirmed its 94 mm wide. Check width of Coving and make sure that you have enough to complete the job.

Easy
I've used Artex Easy cove throughout the house and for someone who – when beginning the house renovation – was a complete novice, this couldn't have been easier. The pack contains instructions for which way to cut – internal and external joints – along with clearly labelled lengths of coving ensuring that you know which way up the coving should go (look out for 'Wall edge' printed on the reverse. I have 2 rooms left to go having already used it in all 3 bedrooms and the kitchen and couldn't be happier. Good product, easy to handle – especially if you are doing it solo (I used some panel pins along the bottom and top edges to make sure it didn't slip – and much more robust and better looking than the polystyrene kind. Adhesion is simple and effective using either with Artex's coving adhesive or other giving great result each time.
