Artex
I bought this bag of artex to do a patch up job on my bed room ceiling .It did a brilliant job .Only this is for the size of this bag I thought it was a bit pricey .Never mind it got the job done 👍

Good kit
Never done artexing before. Had a small ceiling with loads of cracks, decided to give this a go rather than wallpaper. Easy to mix with a paddle attached to my drill. Considered buying the ready mixed but this pack was much cheaper. I put it on with a normal emulsion roller. Gave a great snow like effect finish. Would use again.

Planning & Preparation Prevents Poor .....
We had two large (18") bubbles in our Artex bedroom ceiling through water leaks. I was going to get a 'proper bloke' to do the job but money is tight so I watched a YouTube video..... look up repairing Artex ceiling and there's a two part demo that takes you through it step by step. As the title indicates get your work area prepared, if you are like me you ARE going to drop blobs of Artex on the floor so make sure its protected.....wear appropriate clothes, sorry, obvious stuff, measure out your quantities; I used 1Kg Artex and 500ml of water followed by another 100ml after the ten minute wait. STIR THOROUGHLY, I pinched one of the wifes old wooden spoons in my drill..... a bit of a bodge but it did the job. Make sure you get any non-mixed dry bits of powder from the bottom of the bucket mixed in. There's a long working time so don't panic and if you aren't happy with the finish, add more Artex mixture (I used a 3" paint brush) and re-swirl it with the polythene covered sponge. This will make more sense if you watch the YT video. It probably took me around 30-40 minutes from mixing to wshing out my brush 'n' bucket. I'll apply several coats of paint tomorrow but so far I'm dead chuffed. So, don't be scared, give it a go!

Mixed easily and went on just fine
Remembered to seal the plasterboard first with a wash of unibond so was able to repair our damaged ceiling
