Lawnmower oil
I used to buy lawnmower oil thirty years back,until some old man told me I was wasting my money buying it,he was an expert gardener,and serviced all his own tools,he told me to buy 10,30 car oil ,which was at the time cheap and it still is,am a gardener, and I’ve used car oil ever since,why pay five times as much for lawnmower oil,when car oil is better,never had any problems with it ,lawnmowers oil is a money pit,I used to buy the little sachets of two stroke oil,to mix with five litre of fuel,pound a sachet another money making pit,you can buy a full litre for around seven pound,wow I wasted my money when I was young,what a racket,

B&Q Lawnmower Oil 1L
Oil is oil - but the B&Q branded product has served me well in my 10 year old, very hard worked rotary mower. I will most definitely continue to use the B&Q item.

4 stroke lawnmower oil
I think there is an opportunity for B&Q to bundle oil with a new lawnmower purchase as was our case. Hiwever, if thinking about buying a new 4 strike mower, check what car engine oil you may have for your own car. It may well be the same grade, if not better than this product. Given the small amount of oil the mower takes, you could well save a few pounds, and the planet resources for a time.

Brought a new lawnmower from b&q but found I then had to buy oil for the new motor. It did the job.

Talking rubbish
Says it lubricates the blades...I don't think so. I'ts for the engine.
