Not fit for purpose
I drilled out a 22mm hole to 84mm deep as stated on the packet, having purchased a new drill bit to do it. On opening the packet I found that this latch Does Not fit into a 22mm hole, its going back and if I cannot fine a latch that will do the job I'll have a hell of a problem making the hole bigger to a depth if 84mm. Total nonsence, don't bother.

Wrong directions on pack.
Don't buy. Wrong directions on packet. It states drill a 22mm hole in door, but the latch doesn't fit. My door is now damaged, as near impossible to drill a 25mm hole in pre-existing 22mm hole. I'm very angry.

Does the job satisfactorily
I bought this to replace a similar item on my toilet door. After many years (15+) it was starting to get a bit sticky. I also bought some to replace the old, old, catches on the other internal doors in the house. The problem I had with installing from scratch was that the recommended 22mm drill does not make a hole large enough for this to fit. I had a lot of work to do with a chisel to enlarge the hole enough. I've measured the diagonal of this latch, it's 24mm, no way is this going to fit a 22mm hole. I've bought a 25mm bit, and they fit this hole fine. My doors are 35mm ~ 1.5" which leaves adequate thickness, if your doors are thinner, you may have a ptoblem.

Not the most robust door catch
Bought this to replace another not so robust door catch which broke the previous day. Its OK for now but I suspect it won't be long before I need another.

Disappointment
I thought this would be direct replacement for a latch which had become faulty. Unfortunately the repalcement latch must now be metric rather her than imperial. The rebate had to be increased with a chisel. Not really a complaint, the previous latch had lasted more than ten years, but I didn't have the tools to enlarge te rebate.
