What a waste of money and resources. I’ll honestly never buy B&Q door fittings again, too many experiences like this where the screws are too soft, the mechanisms are so poorly designed they should have never made it to the shelves and the over all build is a joke. This junk is 100% unusable, buy one from a specialist. Cheaper and better.

Infuriating rubbish
I wish I had read the reviews. A dreadful item, I should have simply returned when I initially tried before fitting, but decided to fit it - wasted time and effort and have had to remove and am returning. If you read this don’t waste your time and money on this rubbish!

Wish I'd read the reviews, terrible!
Mechanism is notchy, poor action. Supplied screws are extremely soft, and I've just broke the head off one even after drilling a pilot.

Utter rubbish
As a professional carpenter I spent almost two hours trying to get this to work smoothly. It is loose in the mechanism and therefore sticks even when not in the door. I tried another one bought by the customer at the same time and it was the same.

Terrible quality. Should not be sold.
Mech is really stiff and not straight and just gets worse the more I try to adjust it. Cannot use it. Do not buy!

Awful
So wish I'd read the reviews before buying this. Poorly designed and badly manufactured junk. Took it apart to see if I could improve the movement of the catch....it extends from the housing at an angle. Terrible design. Supplied "countersunk" screws also protrude from faceplate. Bit gutted to discover all this after having made a good job of all the drilling and chiselling to fit perfectly.

Don't waste ur time...
Wasted 2 hrs trying to get this to work so it would unlock properly with ease but just gave up in the end! I was fitting it for an old guy who hadn't read the reviews before buying two of them. I wish I'd known what he'd bought before I offered to 'fit' it :-(
