Superb door handle finish.
Precision and alignment were crucial buying this product and it beats everything to gaining a smoother door handle. The size was easy to find at B&q finish to the product was important to get a modern look. Hoping it will last me a lifetime, but will be back to change the remainder doors as well. Great price for a brilliant part of the house.

Good replacement
Triple pack offers good value for money. Slightly wider than the old one but slight adjustment and fits fine.

Don't waste your money
Very poor quality. i would not by again. do not by cheap locks or latches. you will end up replacing and throwing them in the bin like i did

Next to useless
Awful to fit and the spring isn't strong enough to return the latch. Roughly made, rough feel to the latch action and won't actually close without turning the handle. Just about the worst quality item I've ever bought.

avoid!!!!
The reasons I returned this product: 1. WAY oversized for a standard 22mm hole. You'd have to chisel the hole share to get this to fit 2. Latches stick already. 3. Chrome plating peeling off 4. Made from the thinnest, softest metal available Just awful awful quality.

Nope! Just nope
1st latch seized with my 5 year old stuck on the inside of the bathroom door, had to break the door down. replaced and only a year later I have just had to use a pair of nail clippers from the inside of the bathroom door to remove my door handle and snap the mechanism to open the door as this time it was me stuck behind the door butt naked fresh out the bath. Will be returning and buying yale. Don’t buy if you’re not Emergancy diy savvy or expect to lose your dignity to being rescued in a towel from a fireman breaking down the door.

Quality control non existent.
Well I’m glad I read the reviews, appears to me that BQ need to revamp their quality control dept. Maybe there isn’t one.

the shape has changed
The shape of the barrel has changed, so it was impossible to slot in the original hole. I had to chisel out more wood to enable me to fit the new latch into the door. it made it a much bigger job than normal.

Poor quality and wrong drilling instructions
The latch is awful, very poor quality. I expected to throw the screws away already had replacements ready, just as well as they were dreadful. Tested one on a bit of scrap wood and the head came off whist screwing by hand. The worst bit was that the instructions said to use a 22mm diameter hole, I should have checked, this information is WRONG...The hole needs to be 24-25mm. This made drilling the first door fun! Thanks for that! Add insult to injury, the hinges all went back as they were shocking quality and i'm seriously considering taking the handles back to as they are rubbish also.
