Avoid at all cost
Bought this product last week as bought new doors.. They are awful don’t sit flush and when you close the door it just bounces, I tried all of these and all the same… spend a little bit more for a better quality latch.

Dreadful
As another reviewer has stated, the latch isn’t square with the hole, and it catches, sticks and grinds. This has cost me a mornings work, as I now have to go back and replace them. Shouldn’t be allowed to sell such rubbish, and they aren’t even particularly cheap for a budget product.

Avoid at all cost
I have recently fitted these to the whole house. A week later I am considering replacing the lot. Doors that once closed ok now don’t and I’ll have to file all the plates which then will cause doors to rattle. The reason? Poor quality metal, poor build quality and poor design.

I bought this item about a month ago, it was easy to fit and has worked fine, no problems.

So far so good
It was a little difficult to find ones in the shop without 'rusty' bits/discolouration on. Once I did, they did the job fine.

Quality poor
Body not square to face plate. Instructions say drill 22mm hole which is too small.

SHOCKINGLY POOR!
I'm only giving them 1 star because you cant give them zero - these latches are total dross - they all stick in the open position, it's a disgrace B&Q are selling such rubbish, and I'm really angry I have to get the joiner back to replace all the latches on my new doors - disgusted!

Rubbish
If there was a no star I would give it this. The latch returns too far into the mechanism and consequently the latch fails to disengage. The screws supplied do not fit flush with the countersunk plate holes and stand proud which is not a good look. Avoid.

Had to return a pack because they got jammed inside. the ones that are fitted are constantly jamming. One is clicking everytime the door is used. For £33 I would have expected a much better quality.
