Take care when wiring!
When wiring a Plug, the shortest wire is the Live, whereas in this Trailing Socket the shortest wire is to Earth! I nearly got it wrong, make sure you don’t. The connections are illustrated embossed on the rear of the Socket but paper instructions would be better. This is a well made Socket and a good buy.

Potentially Dangerous
The lack of written instructions are substituted by a barely readable enbossed diagram on the back of the Socket. When wiring a Plug, the shortest connection is usually the Live wire, whereas in this socket the shortest connection is the Earth, an obvious invitation for a disaster. Please take care! Wired correctly, the Socket seems well made and a good buy.

Absolute rubbish!
The clips for the plug pins are not sprung,which means that after one or two insertions they stretch and nolonger touch the plug pins. Have to keep opening it and squeezing them closed again.

1 gang white trailing socket
I bought this trailing socket a few months back and it has changed my life. I needed extra lighting for my bedroom and it has surprisingly put the SPARK back in mine and my husband's lives!
